In order to help dollmakers everywhere with their greenware cleaning, TIBs has reduced prices of the TIBs and TIBs Too videos. We hope this reduction will encourage doll makers to purchase both videos to further compliment their success with the TIBs Technique.

We all know that no one is perfect, so therefore, our greenware is not perfect - no matter who pours it. The TIBs Too video outlines many repairs that we find necessary to get a "perfect" piece into the kiln for firing to bisque, such as repairing cracks and broken fingers, replacing an eyelid, and removing pour lines and crust.

The TIBs Too video also gives helpful hints on how to attach pieces in the greenware stage, how to add fingernails to a hand, and how to add teeth to an open mouth. All this is done in the greenware stage so it fires in place!

The most exciting item on the TIBs Too video is the demonstration of how to customize a greenware piece that has come out of Dianna Effner's commercial molds. (Yes, Dianna Effner has given Tisha's Incredible Brushes her written consent for the instruction to alter greenware pieces from her commercial molds.) The TIBs Too video demonstrates how to add dimples, add to a chin, thin a face, and make pointing ears for an elf. This should really start your imaginations running! We can now alter greenware pieces that are similar to our loved ones, yet not quite exact enough to be a portrait. Dianna Effner is the only sculptor, to our knowledge, that encourages such creativity. So, by way of disclaimer, don't try this with anyone else's commercial molds.

A bonus segment at the end of the video shows a simple, fast, and beautiful blushing method that is applicable no matter what media you use, water or oil.

What's the difference between the TIBs Technique video and the TIBs Too video?

The TIBs Technique video outlines the basic cleaning technique from seams, eye-sizing, smoothing, to pin holes. The video is 40 minutes long and is designed to demonstrate how to do the technique.

The TIBs Too video (on this page), which is 60 minutes long, demonstrates more advanced cleaning techniques, as well as how to add features at the greenware stage, and how to personalize greenware from Dianna Effner's commercial molds.
